The official website of the Webmaster’s Union of Russia is traditionally made by volunteers.

The first and the second versions of the website (2003 – 2004) were made on free СМS-systems with open code and their capabilities were limited. From February 2005 to February 2006 the site was under reconstruction.

The new version of the site, opened on February 1, 2006, was developed in the WEBMASTERA.ru studio on private means of Webmaster’s Union of Russia Council members and those of volunteers.

Anyone can render assistance in supporting and developing the website both by their efforts and by transferring any amount of money to the WebMoney purse. All those who provided assistance equivalent to $50 and more receive a personal grateful certificate from the Russian Webmasters Union and a branded T-shirt with the label of the Webmaster’s Union of Russia .
